Vgetarian Thanksgiving is great source for all type of vegetarian. I think you can get a vast information form the site. I like the post Why Should You Become A Vegetarian. You can enjoy it…

Impressive way to express why would like to become a Vegan. Really like it.

Hey, Daniella

I would start with research about how meat purifies and can stay in the colon for years. You can use the well known story about Elvis to gross out your class and make a point.

Good Luck!!!

I am not a total vegetarian, and even less a total vegan - perhaps I should say yet, becasue I am moving towards the two increasingly. My main motivations are the following:

  1. Personal health (yes, I am self-centered, not a selfless hero)
  2. feeding the world’s population (cattle eat enough grain to feed the current world population, whilst on the other hand, if everyone ate like an American, we would need 5 planets to feed the world)
  3. avoiding the destruction of the planet (deforestation, expansion of the deserts, pollution are all hugely caused by the meat, poultry and dairy industries)
  4. And I am not totally insensitive to the compassion element, although I put it last on my list.
