Monsanto gotta go.

This seems to be a very good film as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, I've only watched it without the benefit of having the sound on. Anyway, even though I'm not sure of the dialog, I think that it is important to note, that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), by law, doesn't require GM food to be labelled. I don't know if the film mentions this or not.

We must be vigilant against other companies besides Monsanto as well. According to the Canadian Biotechnology Action Network (CBAN), a small company called "Aquabounty" currently wants to produce genetically-modified salmon eggs in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The fish would then be shipped to grow on fish farms in Panama for eventual human consumption in the U.S.

Aquabounty's fish is called "Aquaadvantage". Others have dubbed it "Frankenfish". This fish is engineered with a growth hormone from the chinook salmon and genetic material from pout (an eel-like creature). The result is a very fast growing fish, but there have been no independent studies done which prove whether or not this fish is safe for human consumption or for the environment. Many environmentalists fear that there is a risk that escaped GM fish could decimate the global fish population in our oceans.
