According to the documentaty film Food, inc, 85% of all the soy beans grown in the U.S. are planted with Monsanto's patented seed.
"Healthy Vegan Blog" @ www.chetroy.com/healthyvegan/?p=545 reported March 7, 2009 that Silk soy milk is not organic because it is made with genetically modified soy beans.
It makes one wonder what else is tainted in vegan food products. Are the vegan meat substitutes safe? I wonder?
