When life seems so confusing,
And nothing seems amusing,
I need a quiet place where I can go.
And just lay my head to rest,
Be a songbird’s honored guest,
And remember all the Godly things I know.

When protected by a tree,
With its arms stretched over me,
My softness and my sweetness come alive
The soothing silence that surrounds,
And the birds' melodic sounds,
are things my heart and soul must have to thrive.

In a captivating scene,
With a view that’s filled with green,
Where sun rays brighten everything in sight,
There’s a golden world around me,
breaking free from any boundary,
It's here, my thoughts and spirit reach new height.

I long to be in harmony,
With my loving self flowing free,
I need a quiet place where I can go,
