A few words about project:
It's a huge data base with vegan food products like vegetables, fruits, nuts etc. and the amount of nutrients like minerals, vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and water in each vegan product.
The most important feature is the ability to sort by the amount of nutrient per 100g of edible portion in the product. So for example if you have Magnesium Deficiency The Vegan Nutrients Project will help you find which foods you must eat to get more Magnesium.

Press the following icons below each nutrient to sort:
Image - in descending order
Image - in ascending order
The red icons Image Image in the white column mean that the table is currently sorted by the nutrient of that column in the direction indicated by the red icon.

You can also choose what type of products to include in the listing, if you want you can look only at legumes or only at spices, or at all food products. You can choose to show only some of the nutrients be that vitamins, minerals or main nutrients like water, proteins and fats.

Future plans for :
We plan to put a link from each of the nutrient and product from the data base to a thread on the forum with valuable details about each element.
Each page will contain info about the health benefits of the nutrient and the Recommended Daily Amount besides. Plus other interesting information..

Also you will be able to find information about each fruit and vegetable, it's history, where does it grow, it's taste, how to choose a ripe one, how to prepare them and much more.

How can you help:
Any help on gathering information and posting it in the forum is really appreciated. It will not only benefit the entire vegan community but you will also learn many new and useful things in the process.

We have updated the Vegan Nutrients Project.
It is now more user friendly, you are welcome to try it and spread the word.
