i watched Stand and Deliver on cable last night. It is a true story about Jamie Escalante turning students from a tough East Los Angeles barrio High School into top grade calculus students. It was the first time that i have seen the film in a while. It was as refreshing and inspirational as i had remembered that it had been. :-?
