I just bought an ice cream maker and was wondering if anyone had any good vegan ice cream recipes? I'll let you know when I find some.

Here I found this recipe:
Here's another one. Peel four bananas and freeze them in the freezer.
Chop up two fuji apples and do the same thing. When both have frozen
overnight, run them through a Champion juicer or a Vita-Mix or a
powerful food process. Toss in a handful of organic raisins that
you've soaked for a few hours. I kid you not. I enjoy this "ice cream"
as much as I ever enjoyed Breyers. Hope you give it a try.

What is a Champion juicer or a Vita-Mix?
What's a powerful food process anyway?
I have never seen one of these.

Can you use a regular food processor?

Booja Booja in the UK make lovely vegan ice cream - maple and pecan flavour. The only ingredients are water, pecans, cashews, agave, maple syrup. I imagine they make a sort of nut cream, then beat it as they freeze it.

Blend Tec also makes a great blender. I have it and also a Vitamix. I believe they have paid for themselves many times over not only in food price savings but by avoiding the many diseases that have nabbed everyone else in my family. I have a smoothie made with frozen bananas, ice and berries at least once, sometimes twice a day. Using frozen bananas with any frozen fruit, ice and soy/rice/almond/oat/hemp milk can easily taste like ice cream in one of these high-powered blenders. Fresh mangos with frozen bananas really taste like ice cream.

Hey,

The best vegan ice cream I ever made was something like this:
1 cup soy milk
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 packet silken tofu
1 tsp arrowroot
Dash Vanilla essence
PLus: Whatever type of ice cream you want it to be (ie. Add a banana, choc chips, mixed berries, peanut butter etc)

Blend it all in the blender and then use your ice cream maker as per it's instructions.
