Tempeh pate

A friend made this and it's wonderful.

1 block tempeh, cubed
1 tbsp each of red wine vinegar and soy sauce
1 Medium Chopped onion
Sliced mushrooms, 8 oz package
Oil to sauté
1/2 cup of walnuts ( lol, I just thought of the name, Pauli walnuts, of the sopranos fame...)

Sauté chopped onion and mushrooms until desired tenderness. Add tempeh and red wine vinegar and soy sauced and cook till liquid is absorbed.

Process this with the walnuts in food processor or blender, until smooth. Chill for an hour or so. Is good eaten warm, too.

It's delicious indeed.

As for spices, there were none in the recipe. But, sure, add some in of one's choice...
