He also wrote, "Two aspects of this more general and freer availability of former experiences for subsequent ones may be distinguished", and cites as the second of these two aspects the alleged fact taht it "increases the meaning, the experienced significance, attaching to an experience." What does Dewey mean by this claim about meaning?
