Was surfing the net for bags and stuff - boring, I know - but I found this great wooden briefcase by Takumi Shimamura, and thought it was a bit different.
Alternatively, I think these candy-wrapper handbags are fantastic http://www.ecoist.com/ or these made from vintage textiles (including bags made from girl scout uniforms!) http://www.cahootshandbags.com
Vegan designer handbags:
http://www.amykathryn.com/ (I think these are great. Bizarrely, the one I liked most includes a diaper changing mat on request...)
http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com/ (where the above are available to buy mail order, though the shipping is a tad pricey if you don't live in the US)
http://www.mattandnat.com/ (more sensible work stuff, and a bit pricey. Though not as pricey as leather, it has to be said) |

Thanks, Becky!
That should be very interesting to vegan ladies. _________________ Andy`Ba
