A few words about food.vegtalk.org project:
It's a huge data base with vegan products, and nutrients in each of them.
The most important feature is the ability to sort by the amount of nutrient per 100g of edible portion in the product. So for example if you have Magnesium Deficiency food.vegtalk.org will help you find which products you must eat to gain more magnesium.

press the following icons below each nutrient to sort:
- in descending order
- in ascending order
The red icons in the white column means that the table is currently sorted by the nutrient of that column in the direction indicated by the red icon.

In the top left corner there are some check boxes where you can choose what type of products to include in the listing. Also in the leftmost part of the header,in the dark square you can choose to show only some of the nutrients be that vitamins, minerals or main nutrients.

Future plans for food.vegtalk.org :
We plan to put a link from each of the nutrient and product from the data base to a thread on the vegtalk.org forum with valuable details about each element.
Each page will contain info about the health benefits of the nutrient and the Recommended Daily Amount besides. Plus other interesting information..

Also you will be able to find information about each fruit and vegetable, it's history, where does it grow, it's taste, how to choose a ripe one, how to prepare them and much more.

How can you help:
Any help on gathering information and posting it in the forum is really appreciated. It will not only benefit the entire vegan community but you will also learn many new and useful things in the process.
