I held you in my arms
as your heart beat it's last goodbye's
you breath lingered on my hands
even after the final one faded
your broken body shuddered
and you were gone.
the light in your eyes dimmed
a dying ember without air
but it sparked a flame in my heart
fed by love and grief and anger
your senceless death will be avenged,
you will be avenged.

:cry: your poem was very beautiful yet simple but heartbreaking it expresses the unique moment of losing ones little friend, being torn between grief and helplessness at the same time with having to let go.
