I've heard of one vegan condoms brand, it was RFSU if I recall correctly. But now that you asked, I found another brand, Glyde ( http://www.veganessentials.com/catalog/glyde-vegan-condoms.htm ). I guess all the rest are non-vegan or unknown. It's not only the rubber, but also the various substances ...
Air your kitchen and cabinets and put some of the following items in them (moths don't like them): - laurel leaves, - cloves, - caraway, - orange peels, - black pepper, so that you can feel their smell when you open a cabinet (if moths do, they won't go in). They also hate lavender, but it's not a s...
Yup, winter can be a hard time... then we eat mostly pastas with sauces, frozen vegetables and lots of pods (soy, lentil, pea), from which we make cutlets, pates, tofu etc. And, as you mentioned, potatoes.
Hi and welcome to the forums! I wouldn't say it's that hard, unless you insist on eating out, then it can really be a hard time finding even a vegetarian (and then convincing them to transform it to vegan) meal in a restaurant or a bar. But if there's a veggie restaurant in your town, you're suited....
I've been omnivorous till my teen years, then vegetarian for a few years and then I turned vegan and intend to stay so. If you need help and assistance with going vegetarian, maybe you'd like to order PeTA's free starter kit? http://www.vegetarianstarterkit.com/ There are zillions of pages out there...
You don't have to pay, it's all for free. The 'account' just means that now you are able to log in and post under your nick. It's nothing like a bank account.
They probably appear with the threads that have lots of discussion about meat. Google keywords are simply a brainless system and it sometimes shows. Anyway, I haven't even noticed that there are google ads on this site up to now.
Good luck with your book then! It's a very good idea to make a cookbook focused on baking, I hope it will sell well. Unfortunately I won't be able to get it (or I could, but it would be troublesome and expensive), but I hope you'll provide us with some sample recipes when it's out. :-) If it proves ...
A vegan cookbook you say... well, you could probably include salt in your recipes, as there always is a posibility to buy slat that is for sure cruelty-free (e.g. non-processed salty or some brands of marine salt), but generally salt isn't too good for health I guess... However, I have a few cookboo...
Some years ago I did a small research about the salt industry and I don't remember a thing about using animal products in its processing. The salt itself is a mineral and the methods of its extraction involve only water and different kinds of machines. Maybe you, or the person who gave you that info...
"A Time/CNN poll published in Time Magazine July 7, 2002, found that 4% of American adults consider themselves vegetarians, and 5% of self-described vegetarians consider themselves vegans. This small-sampled poll may suggest that 0.2% of American adults are vegans. A 2000 poll (http://www.vrg.org/nu...
I agree, this discussion is pointless, as it will simply never happen. I suppose you need the answer because the carnivores bother us with this kind of stupid questions... but what's the point? Anyway, if this would ever happen (e.g. in case 99% of people died out), I'm sure the Nature would sort it...
I know one vegetarian gay, one omnivore gay and quite a few straight vegans. So I can't confirm nor dement what you heard. However, I think it might be connected to the fact that vegans are usually more open-minded. Ah, actually there are a few les vegans I know... also feminists obviously. I'm conf...
It's a matter of taste, really. I don't like these legs. Bit too long, bit too anorectic. The knickers aren't of my favourite kind either. And yes, I like to complain about everything.
