Somebody has way to much time on their hands.

They must have been dumped by a Vegan.

My first thought was near the Redwood Forests in Northern California, USA. Or perhaps in the San Fransico area (Lots of Vegan Dining) to be close to them.

The Redwoods are my favorite place to go, I'm hoping I can take time off again this summer to visit.

I couldn't help but think of all the people I know who would not make the connection. I can hear this argument now, "Well, the seals could be showing high levels of chemicals because of the areas they swim in. It doesn't have to do anything with eating fish!" And yet another connection the...

Milk is not a good source of calcium because of the amount of protein in it. People who eat a high protein diet usually develope calcium deficiencies because the excess protein pushes the calcium through their system to fast to be properly absorbed. Since milk has a high protein content, it's abilit...

I think that's about the best thing I've ever heard (providing that the parents love their kids in the first place). People who resent having children will probably resent their children even more though since more of their time is being consumed on them. But maybe it's a double edged sword too, may...

I don't agree. Why shouldn't we drink milk or cheese? They are some very healthy aliments, rich in Calcium. If people consume them for a few thousand years, and there wasn't any loss in cow numbers, I think that this shouldn't be a problem for anyone! Milk is not a good source of calcium. It does c...

If anybody has ever fed a stray cat you will definitely find that animals befriend humans. The former tenants of the house I live in left behind their cat. Of course I had to keep feeding it. When my visitors see the cat they ask, "Is that your cat." and I say, "It's more like. . . . ...

I began eating Vegan for spiritual reasons. Health came second. The enviroment came third. Animals came last.

I have become more compassionate now for animals.

My point is, you can't sell anything you don't beleive in. People won't buy anything unless there's a "need" inside them.

Shortly after we met, unbeknownst to each other, my wife and I both decided to become vegetarians. I actually became Vegan, because I thought that's what vegetarians were. When we moved in together, my wife became Vegan because it was more conveinent for the both of us (and cost efficient). I would ...

Have you ever been to a slaughter-house?

I have before and after Vegan experiences with slaughter-houses. I used to own a Courier company, and one of our clients sold food packing supplies. So, once a week I would visit a slaughterhouse. Before I was Vegan I can't say delivering to this place was a pleasant experience. It smelled horrible....

Re: Pearls

Weirdos. I bet you don't even wear pearls. You rely on plants for everything. If celery suddenly went extinct you'd go into panic mode. Your means of survial would have disappeared. I think this line of thinking is funny. One: I could retort "You rely on animals for everything. If cows suddenl...

Honey was one of the last non-vegan things I gave up.(Partly because I didn't know it wasn't considered Vegan.) Re: Genetic basis for lactose intolerance revealed

I wonder what state the muscle is in when a crab naturally molts his claw. I'm not sure if it would be as tempting. Eating snake, (I've done it before. My stepdad was a butcher by trade), can be tasty but you don't seek to eat the skin. Which is why hunters of old probably found better uses for snak...

It's a good thing Salt is Vegan. . . it's one thing that will definitely kill us if we don't have it. They know without it, and from exp...

I've kinda boycotted any General Mills, Post, or Kelloggs' products and any other name brand food that I grew up with. Ingredients lists have got to be a hassle to read unless you have a PhD in nutrition. I like my more natural cereals now. The ones that I can recognize the ingredients on the label.

I'd say just as nutrional value is lost during freezing as it is during cooking.

The "living water" in the plants that we consume are always best fresh.
