Re: Vegan gays?

I think some gay men have arranged to have a baby via a surrogate mother and donated egg. I don't know so much about this... I was thinking about men mostly.. It isn't easy at all to find a surrogate mother imho. But on the other hand if everyone is gay... then masculine gay would have to find lesb...

Re: Vegan Philosophers

Warchild, yes Diogenes was a philosopher in the antic Greece. He is said to have lived in a large tub, rather than a house, and to have walked through the streets carrying a lamp in the daytime, claiming to be looking for a honest man. :) But I couldn't find anything about him being vegan or not. Em...

Not necessarily - there are ways and means :laughing8:

Re: Early Child Development

Swimming pools that run a baby class.. :study: I doubt we have something like this here. I am just curious if there are any age restrictions for these classes. We are bathing Alex in a large bath tube for matures, where he can swim and play like in a swimming pool. I have also read that it is...

Re: Vegetarian Conception and Pregnancy

Soy is just a bean I would not base my vegan diet on soy only, considering that a lot of it is genetically modified and nobody knows how it can influence the health in the long run. My wife before pregnancy ate various products containing Folate (folic acid). Various beans including soy, oranges, av...

Tell people why you are vegan

First 10 times it was fun answering questions. But after I just became tired of arguing. Usually one gets tired of arguing when he doesn't see results. When you win the arguments one after another you feel stronger and you begin to like it more and more. :) So if you don't have good pro vegan argum...

Famous Pro Animal Rights Quotes

Animal rights quote by Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712–1778) It appears, in fact, that if I am bound to do no injury to my fellow-creatures, this is less because they are rational than because they are sentient beings: and this quality, being common both to men and beasts, ought to entitle the latter a...

A tamed dog can become free if it runs into the forest :) Since it does not, I have to assume the dog doesn't understand the principle of freedom. A tamed dog stays with his host, if he is not chained, for the same reason a child stays with his parents or an employee stays with his employer. A chil...

Re: Vegan Ethics

Vegan ethics.. hm... When somebody asks me about why I don't eat animals and wear leather, before I used to answer: Because of ethical reasons. Re: Vegan Clothing

Hey Becka. :) Do you know if any of these vegan clothing can resist really cold climates like minus 40 degrees Celsius? Re: What makes a good person?

Had an interesting discussion with someone the other day. They supposed that people who do martial arts or boxing (like me!) cannot be nice people, because they are "hitting people for a hobby" :o LOL, if the people that you are hitting do not have anything against it than it's ok imho. :...
