She was texting whist walking. So, she wasn't aware of her surroundings, and, thus, fell into the mall's fountain. I don't understand why people don't think it's important to remain engaged with the world. It's no wonder the mall security had a field day with her. I think it's rediculous that she had sued mall security ( and that a security employee lost his job). While i did feel bad that she was made famous inadvertently vis a vis YouTube, I personally think that she behaved in a grossly negligent manner. I think she had learned her lesson, but after the fact...

And now it's been found that she has a bit of a criminal past. Go figure...

The video that appeared on youtube was taken from a CCTV monitor (you can see the monitor frame in part of the video). I think that's why the security guard got sued. That she's suing the mall because no one came to help her... she didn't look hurt. She looked stupid. What were they supposed to do? Educate her on the virtues of looking where she's going? Maybe she should sue the company that manufactured her phone for not putting a picture-in-picture image on her phone showing her through the phone's camera what was up ahead.
