| Hello! I'm Tonya... a 23 year old from Wisconsin. I became a vegetarian for health reasons, and have since expanded my reasoning to include environmental and an8imal reasons. My family has a genetic defect which causes us to create cholesterol at a hyperspeed level... hence my original decision to become vegetarian. Well, my most recent cholesterol test showed a level well below what's considered normal. My doctor was impressed! I have now decided to convert from Vegetarian to Vegan... and I've got family following close behind. My mom has made a resolution to begin the road to veganism... huge progress if you knew my mom! Happy to be a part of this group.
