| HP To Build 1-Megawatt Solar Power System HP will install a large-scale solar power system at its San Diego facility and buy windpower to run a number of facilities in Ireland. The company has a goal to reduce its energy use by 20 percent by the end of 2010.Initial estimates indicate that the project will save HP approximately $750,000 in energy costs during the next 15 years.
