We can escape our fate, but can they?

You wake up from a dream,
Except this dream spirals into a nightmare before you come to...
As you open your eyes you notice you are paralyzed or least for a second you think this twisted reality is just another dimension to the hellish realm you were just in. Your body constricts and you feel your heart beating faster the more you panic as you shed through the layers of consciousness you realize you are trapped... striped naked... cold and alone... Your life holds in the balance from the fortress that contains you. You smell the stench of death corroding your nostrils as though you see the fear through different senses. Fading in and out you understand your not as alone as you thought in the reflection through a single tear in the corner of your eye you see two things...
A man wielding an axe..
And a machine with more teeth than any monster you could image...
Fortunately for you this is just a thought for you to consider, there are processes in this world to protect you from these dangers and threats... So why do we allow this heart stopping action repeat daily inside the eyes of silent creatures???

I was very sad because most of us don't think the same as we thought for animals. They just think that animals are food, pet and sometimes even tools. What they know they feel the same fear when we are in the middle of danger and someone wants to kill us. They don't know that feeling and they never think the that way. Hope they realize that feeling of hopelessness and fear.
A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.
